Foundation Stage Curriculum
We wish to make the transition between home and pre-school as easy as possible. When your child first joins you will be given an “All about me” questionnaire to fill out. This is to help our staff get to know your child, his/her interests, particular friends, etc. A copy of this can be found on our Downloads page, as can many other forms. The better we know your child, the better we will be able to help him/her settle and plan for his/her needs.

The care and education offered by Aspley Guise Pre-School helps children by providing them with interesting activities that are appropriate for their age and stage of development. Aspley Guise Pre-School provides a curriculum set out in the Early Years Foundation Stage documentation.

Each child will be treated as a unique individual with their own interests and needs being taken into account. Planning is very much centred around each child, with their development being assessed regularly.
