Governance structure
Aspley Guise Pre-School is a registered charity, managed by a committee of volunteers. The committee’s members are elected by the parents of the children who attend the Pre-School. The committee is responsible for:
- managing the Pre-School’s finances;
- employing and managing the staff;
- making sure that the Pre-School’s policies help it to provide a high quality service;
- making sure that the Pre-School works in partnership with the children’s parents;
- fundraising.
We encourage parents to get involved by joining the committee and helping to ensure the continued success of the Pre-School.
Although we are independent of the Lower School, the Pre-School has very strong links with the Lower school and offers a smooth transition for those children moving on to the Lower school when they attain school age.
Volunteers
The Pre-School welcomes parent & carer volunteers. Helping at the session enables you to see what the day-to-day life of the Pre-School is like and to join in helping the children to get the best out of their activities. Parents and carers can offer to take part in a session by sharing their own interests and skills with the children. |
