Staff
The Pre-school team is led by Mrs Brenda Matthews, Pre-School leader. All our staff members are experienced and dedicated childcare experts, and all are qualified to NVQ level 2 in childcare or above . We are delighted with our low staff turn-over rate.
Key person
Pre-School has a key person system. This means that each member of staff has a group of children for whom she/he is particularly responsible. Your child's key person will work with you to make sure that Pre-School provides what is right for your child's particular needs and interests. When your child first starts Pre-School, she/he will endeavour to help your child settle and throughout your child's time at the Pre-School, she/he will confer with you at regular intervals to update you on your child’s progress.
Special needs
As part of the Pre-School’s policy to make sure that it meets the needs of each individual child, we take account of any special needs which a child may have. The Pre-School works to the requirements of the 1993 Education Act and The Special Educational Needs Code of Practice (2001).
